I didnt know that Xoom does not allow remittances to a person residing in the US.

Super easy to reload my Guatemalan phone number when I am traveling!

Excellent app and super easy to use...

They claim that you can send money in seconds but thats not always the case. Without prior notice they can hold your transfers from 3-4 days. Unacceptable!

I just saw a lots of bad reviews in here but I dont get it. I use this app and the money arrived really fast. I received emails confirming the transaction, the transition and the completion on the transaction. I use it only once but I am willing to use again if I need it, so I recommend it .

Its work, its fast... it depends how bank youll transfer... but I like (its secure)

Good App to send money

Ive used this app several times and have ever had a problem. I really recommend it for international students.

It does not work I cant even send any money app wont go further than country selection.

If u need to send money in a non fast way. Maybe mail would be faster. Takes about 5 to 10 business days for people to get money even though the money has cleared ur account. I ended up having to send the money a different way but it is the cheapest but u do get what u pay for.

Very disappointed with this app. I always have to end up logging into my account on a computer because this app is terrible. It doesnt even open anymore and Ive downloaded the latest version.

Was much easier to use before, now have to go step by step verifying all the receiving party , bank accounts, my bank choice , if I want to use credit card , I did not like it

In the past upon logging in the Quick menu based on past transactions was the default screen making new transactions easy Today, despite no SW update, it wasnt there. Instead got some Wizard that failed to send money. This is terrible! Undo your changes!

Used this app to transfer money to a family member. Payment went through the well the first time. However, I was using the app to check bank account information and unintentionally sent another transaction on the way. I was unable to cancel the transaction within 2 minutes, then the app dialed out the customer service #. I have had to call 3+ times to get this resolved and nothing, I am so upset that this app does not have the ability to cancel requests. This is unacceptable, I cant check bank account information on the app, cancel, etc.

I sent 3 transactions to my family in Mexico and all were cancelled by Xoom Customer Verification Department. They ask me what was the relation of my family member and how the money was to be used. They requested a color photo of my Drivers license which their headquarters reviewed. They informed me their review might require a day. After waiting I tried to send a transaction with no success. I called the Department and was told that they could not verify me. They suggested I take my business elsewhere. They put a $4.99 price out for bait. Their exchange rate is terrible and where they make their profit..... Minus 5 stars!
